Bell Vintage Sign
SKU ID #370563
At The Heritage Farm Museum in West Virginia, the Perry’s started vintage collecting when they were first married. What started as a hobby for the couple quickly turned into a historic showcase for the Appalachian community to visit due to the vast amount of memorabilia they collected. Mike and Frank made a stop at the Perry’s to ‘pick’ through their excess, and while they came across a lot of items that were “NFS” Frank managed to make a deal for vintage Public Telephone signs. Get the look from the perfect pick in West Virginia, and showcase the classic sign in a special place.

Judging by the description I believed this to be a vintage sign Mike & Frank purchased during their visit to the Perry's Heritage Farm Museum in West Virginia. Very creative marketing and the use of the words "get the look", as the sign is neither truly vintage nor a sign purchased during that episode. To add insult to injury were the unnecessary "shipping surcharge" and handling fee. The sign is neither heavy nor did it require special packaging.
While this is a great reproduction of a vintage sign, The sign itself is not an ACTUAL old Bell sign.
The rust shown & scratches are computer scanned on a great reproduction. No where in the sales ad does it say you are NOT getting an actual OLD SIGN. I do love the product for what it is, and because the shipping both ways costs almost what the sign costs, I am keeping it, but the sales ad should read what they really are selling. Be aware of what you are actually buying. 4 stars due to reproduction.
The sign was bought by Frank & Mike in WV. I ordered it from the picker's store. It is proudly displayed on my phone company office wall & has returned to WV. Full circle.
